WIDOW & ORPHAN SUPPORT 

Abu Huraya (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: “The person who strives on behalf of the widows and poor is like those who strive in the way of Allah and like those who fast in the day and pray in the night”

Still in many parts of the word today, many vulnerable groups of society, like widows and orphans are seen as outcasts and looked down upon.

At Abu Bakr & Zakeriya MCT we are here to make that change.

Meet Shabana, 27 years old with an 8 year old son was widowed two years ago. She was immediately disowned by her in-laws to return back her poverty stricken parents. Abu Bakr & Zakeriya MCT provides her with a monthly subsistence of 1000 rupees (~ £10) and from time to time we provide her with food parcels. Abu Bakr and Zakeriya MCT supplied a sewing machine to generate an income for herself and her family. She now sends her son, Armaan, happily to school without having to worry about school fees since Abu Bakr & Zakeriya MCT sponsored them.
